July 28, 2006  Traverse City

Trip to Traverse City, MI to see the family was great. Check out photos from the trip here.Oh, and here are more photos from Tom's phone. There was 23 of us and 5 dogs sharing a cagin on Lake Leelanau. It was my brothers and sisters, their familys and one family friend. Looks like I have a new brother and sister. Noah is 5 and Ni-Aja is 6. They are cute and seem ok, so that is good. Now there is 8 kids! On the trip we got a pontoon boat and went to Leeland. I loved it. Traverse City has changed so much but Leland looked the same. We also visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mackinac Island, and did wine tasting on the Mission Penninsula. We drove to our old cottage and it looks completely different. All in all we had a great time. Nice to see everyone in the beautiful northern Michigan environment.

July 12, 2006  More on the Redesign

Still working on the site redesign. It's a pretty large overhaul so it will take a while. Haven't had much downtime at work (or life) lately so that is how it goes. It is fun to work on and I am enjoying where it is going. Been surfing more and more, cycling to work, training capoeira and taking classes at the gym. Enjoying all of it. We painted the outside of our house and planted the front garden and we are stoked on the results. Going to Traverse City, MI next week to visit the whole fam on vacation. Should be fun!
